Air Source is increasingly viable and a popular alternative especially for those undertaking the modernisation of a property or a Self Build project. Air Source is also supported by a Government Grant of up to £5000.

Solar thermal is usually the cheapest option and modern systems are both efficient and reliable. If you are thinking about a new hot water cylinder go for an over sized cylinder with a twin coil and you can always retro fit solar at a later date.

Solar PV is without doubt the most reliable. Zero moving parts, proven technology, just keep those panels clean for maximum yield.
