Having your boiler serviced once a year by a Gas Safe registered engineer ensures that you

Most importantly an annual service ensures that your boiler is safe.
Make sure you arrange for regular servicing as carbon monoxide leaks may be fatal.

to maintain the manufactures warranty. 

Example: If we did the installation, British Gas can do the service or

visa versa.

THERE ARE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS TOO.

​

If you are a landlord, you are responsible for the safety of your

tenants. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

deal with landlords’ duties to make sure gas appliances, fittings

and flues provided for tenants are safe. You are responsible for

ensuring the boiler meets all the legal requirements for any

new and current tenants residing in the building. You are

also responsible for ensuring an annual gas safety check

is carried out by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF BOILER SERVICE

 1/.      Standard Service and Performance Check

                Cost range from between £78 to £120 We currently only charge £68

                It normally takes less than an hour.

​

2/.      Full Strip Down Boiler Service plus Performance Check

                Our cost for this vary from boiler to boiler as some boilers are more complicated than                         others and we need to buy a strip down service kit.

Its recommended to carry out a full strip down service every 5 years however you only need a standard service to satisfy the terms of your boiler warranty.
